Getting started

Smotra helps teams create guided product stories from real product footage. A finished demo starts with one video and ends as a shareable interactive page.

Workflow

1. Open Smotra and create a new demo.
2. Upload a video or capture a product flow with the browser extension.
3. Wait for processing to find scenes, steps, and suggested guidance.
4. Open the editor and review the generated structure.
5. Update step titles, annotations, and pacing.
6. Publish the demo when it is ready for viewers.

What to prepare

• A short product flow with a clear start and finish.
• A browser window that shows only the product area you want viewers to see.
• A simple story for the viewer: what they should learn or complete by the end.

Good first demo

Start with a narrow task, such as creating a project, uploading one file, or inviting a teammate. Short demos are easier to review and usually perform better for onboarding and sales follow-up.
